I refuse to buy things I can just make myself. So instead of spending $60+ on a shrug I saw online I took a F21 long sleeved tank and just made one.
^said F21 shirt^
Put the shirt on and trace with chalk where your boobs are, trace slightly above this. Cut on the line you just traced.
Try the shirt on...did you make it too short? That's cool, take a section using the bottom seem and make it the right length. Since I do all my sewing by hand I embrace it, using obvious thread and creating rough outside seams. Now, take some more of the leftover fabric and lengthen the sleeves as much as you want. So take some fabric, fold it over in half to match the cuff width and cut. I actually lengthened mine about 5 inches because I was going for the slouchy wrist look. All you have to do is sew up one side and attach that to the existing sleeve seam.
See what I'm saying?
After trying it on I realized that because of the original fit of the shirt it was too loose in the back. I took the shrug, folded it in half and sewed through about 2 inches in. This created a back seam that I'm pretty pleased with because I felt like it needed a little something anyways.
This is a shrug, meant to be worn OVER a shirt, Don't let me see you trying to rock this shit as a shirt. If I say something is too slutty, it's too slutty, trust me.
It's really like I just discovered Doctor Who. I hadn't, just discovered it. But it's like I have. It's kind of consuming my life right now. And now I'm fucking terrified of weeping angels. That and the mountains upon mountains of other shit I've got to deal with. Sometimes, I'm really not sure how I'm going to do it. I don't think I can. This isn't some kind of pulling inner strength from somewhere shit. I don't think I can do it. That's all. That's all there is.
These have been popping up everywhere, for a while, I'm a little behind. I really couldn't decide if I liked them or not. But I haven't worn these boots in a while so I figured why the hell not, let's make them fancy. And because, prices for custom reconstructed boots are crazy. These cost me nothing, I just have this stuff laying around.
Original boots I got for Christmas last year. And I loved them but I maybe only wore them a few times.
Hi, do you hate your hands? Try resewing cowboy boots by hand. I used doilies, belts, and fabric scraps I had around to make these. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. And to my brother who told me when enough was enough.
Since my ENTIRE DAY is fucked up because the IRS transcript system is down I took pictures of my fantastic outfit. But seriously, IRS wtf? How can your system be down at a time like this? Not just for selfish reasons but hello it's fuckin tax time. Be more prepared yeah?
Skirt-Lip Service via Dolls Kill, Scarf- Marc Jacobs, Rings from the left- Gypsy Warrior, H&M, F21 (also from F21 cuff and tank), moccasins- my sister left them here.
I realize it's already like half way through the first month of the new year but I wanted to do this and uploading them to Facebook seemed like too much and annoying. So I'm doing it here, where I can do whatever I want.

STS9 again, which I know is probably on the same visible page as the first post about this show but whatevs.
It was a good year for shows. I think I've already got my first two of this year lined up. I went and saw someone or something the other night but I never knew who they were anyways. It was good though.
Hi! I've been gone forever! And most of what I've been doing I'm not ready to publically post on an open blog on the internet. I will say, fuck Jake to hell. I'm really happy he left the state and ran back home. And now that's he's totally out of my life, things have been pretty good. I haven't been doing much work lately. Too much other stuff and laziness going on. But my friend Anthony are working on a fun little project and I should hopefully have some things to show you on that soon. In the mean time, here's another set of scantily clad pictures of me. Cause I know how much you care and love them. Not really.
